At Camp Ramaquois, STEAM activities can include a wide range of topics such as nature, chess, legos, tech lab, arts and crafts, ceramics, drama, and more! These activities may involve studying scientific principles, learning about problem-solving and strategy, designing and building structures, exploring the principles of coding or robotics, creating hands-on projects, working with clay and other materials to create functional or decorative objects, and engaging in theater and performance.

There are often jobs available at camp to fill these activities, such as a Nature Leader, Chess Instructor, Lego Coach, Tech Lab Instructor, Craft Leader, Ceramics Instructor, and Drama Coach. These roles may be responsible for planning and implementing the STEAM activities, supervising and instructing campers, and collaborating with the camp leadership team to ensure alignment with Ramaquois’s mission and values.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a diverse range of programs and activities based on your preferred activity area. Plan and schedule sessions, including demonstrations and guided projects. Supervise and instruct campers in activities, ensuring safety and proper use of materials at all times. Train and manage a team of assistant Ramaquois leaders and instructors.
