Athletic Leaders

Athletic Leaders are responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive athletic program for campers aged 3-15. This includes organizing and supervising team sports, individual sports, and recreational activities. The Athletic Leaders will work closely with the Ramaquois leadership team to ensure that all athletic activities align with the Ramaquois’s mission and values.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a diverse range of athletic programs and activities, including team sports such as soccer, basketball, and softball.
  • Plan and schedule athletic events, including practices, games, and tournaments.
  • Supervise and instruct campers in athletic activities, ensuring safety and fair play at all times.
  • Train and manage a team of assistant coaches and instructors.
  • Collaborate with the camp leadership team to integrate athletic activities into the overall camp program and ensure alignment with the camp’s mission and values.
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of athletic facilities and equipment.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well with children and adults of all ages.
  • Knowledge of a variety of sports and recreational activities.
